Eve randomly minimizes - SOLVED

My game started randomly minimizing and here's how I temporarily fixed it:

ESC > Display & Graphics > Display > Windowed or Fullscreen > Fixed Window.

Now when it minimizes, a bar just appears at the bottom.

Found the cause - Picked up piece of malware called Amozilla.

Run taskmanager and see if you have a thing called dwm.exe*32 (firefox) running. You'll have a dwm but it will say (desktop manager), look for one that says "firefox" in the description.


To clean, you need to find "data.js" in your registry and the actual file under Program Files (x86) > Common Files > SOME DIRECTORY (mine was in a directory called BrandMuscle). Delete the data.js file and delete all references in your registry and reboot.
