I recently received this error message when a socket was closed and I started another session.

I have a lot of socket closure issues when a particular corp member logs on but not when any other corp member is logged on.

I also have another problem when logging into the forums where I have to constantly enter the account validation character name even though I am connected to the same IP location each time, which means someone could possibly be trying to access my account from another location.

I think CCP should black out any visible letters and numbers associated with the login name and the secondary validation screen name to help better protect against hackers using remote monitors to tap into a connection to lift screen names and passwords with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are getting "Connection Usurped" messages and you never were a part of any account sharing plan (and if so don't admit it), go change your account password ASAP, then submit a petition on the subject.

As to your ideas about changes. No. You try multiboxing several accounts and rapidly switching between them; the drop down menu for my excessively long and complicated account names is about the only thing that prevents me from throwing my computer at the wall each time I log in 4-5 chars in rapid succession.
