Mobile Tractor Unit bug

I searched previous posts and only found one item for mobile tractor unit bugs. So here is a new topic

I noticed that when ejecting mining ore out into a jet can the mobile tractor unit will only scoop the ore if the total M3 is under capacity. If there is more ore in the can than the MU can carry it does scoop the can. You can get the MTU packed with ore if you split your stacks so that only just enough fits into the can. If it can ultimately be done but is just a pain in the ass to do, then why not have the MTU split the loot by itself.

Is there any thought into making it so the MTU will automatically pull what it can into the can up to capacity, is this intentional, or is it a bug?

I dont think the creation of MTU was to help mining. every single item is released you try to abuse it to the maximim, and then nerfs come.
Leave it alone.

The MTU is designed to pull in jet cans. Players will do with it what they will.

When Jet cans were created, there was no intention for them to become instruments in the mining profession. Developers marveled at player ingenuity and at the unexpected result of what the players created.

You mean it's designed to pull in wrecks, because that's what was explicitly stated in its announcement dev blog
