spec's

cpu: i7 3820
mboard: gigabyte x79-up4
ram: 16gb of 2000mhz

the card's that im using now are msi r9-280x

i dont want to buy a new card and its just the same.

Use Direct X 9 mode. The current Direct X 11 mode is pretty much an open alpha/beta. NVidia is a CCP partner, so its no surprise that AMD cards are not working as intended just yet. There are no differences graphically between the two renders yet anyway.

If anyone from CCP reads this, the DX11 option needs to be on the main launcher (not buried in a menu) with a warning that it is not a finished product.

I don't think that either your gpu nor dx11 is your problem. I too own a r9 280x and don't have any problems with eve, dx9 or 11. switching to nvidia is not guaranteed to fix your problems, they too had there fair share of quirks with eve.

I would suggest you download and reinstall all drivers from your mb manufacturers website, reinstall catalyst drivers (don't use Beta drivers unless you REALLY need them) and test your RAM with memtest over a night or two.

P.S.: uninstalling uneeded soft- and crap/adware does help too. You can also try to deactivate your AV-programm and see if it aleviates your problem.

he said "cards" maybe they are running crossfire? Try disabling that if you are.

THANKS!! thats sorted it takling it out of crossfire mode Big smile

I had reinstalld windows down loaded latest drivers, chaged to DX9 with low GFX settings, ran memtest, prime, and benched the pc, all was fine, max out any game, but not EVE, and this hapend after the rubicon 1.3?

Now i am runing 3 seats at the same time with maxed out setting and its solid.

Will try the same in my older hd7950 crossfire pc, and see if it works too.

ps: sending you both a little isk for your help.
