  1. Give a warning when you accept a contract, which requires more cargo space than your current ship has available.
  2. Missions already warn you about your lack of cargo space when you want to accept it, so why not contracts? The cargo volume is already stated in the contract window, granted; however, in the heat of the situation you can easily miss that part or your brain plays tricks to your mind and you misread a digit.
Having to deal with a contract that you cannot transport on your own (breaking it, failing it, sub-contracting it, etc) is a big hassle and could be prevented.

  3. Have an option/functionality tab in the contract window to show all Courier contracts for a particular route.
  4. How many contracts failed on a particular route is by no means an absolute indicator for how safe a route is, but it provides a general picture about what you are most likely to expect on your route or how safe contracts of particular contract creators are. While seasoned players know the most popular trap Couriers and while the contract window shows whether a contract crosses Low sec/00 sec systems, certain contracts can be misleading. It is also already certainly possible to look up contract histories via the character information window, but this functionality tab would give a better at one glance overview over the entire situation on a particular route without having to check every character/corp individually.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.
