TL:DR - Nothing is free, especially your time.

Minerals I afkmine are free.

Minerals you mine in a ship with mods and possibly implants. Hell, even if you got that for free and had it all destroyed and podded it would still take you time to get all that back together to AFK mine again, plus the time your AFK ass was doing nothing out in space.

Nothing is free.

Except the Minerals I get are free and are a byproduct of my fun in EVE. But then again I don't shoot at rocks for them Acquiring them is not my main goal. I don't sell them and they have no value to me other than saving money from the highway robbery that is the high sec market. I win.

Are you a miner/mission runner that is tired of being ganked? Do you want to play EVE and never PVP, but you have a list of players that is stopping you from doing that? Don't QQ pay someone to do your PEW PEW for you. Now offering reasonable rates. EVE mail me for more details.

This statement is the most toxic, horrible thing that any industrialists can hear.

Currently we have a weapon to stave off such stupidity. The ability to reverse their stupidity and put the minerals back on the market at the right price via 100% reprocessing.

There is a 45% nerf to reprocessing, this will nerf the counter to "minerals I mine are free" and will drive t1 hulls to 55% of their current value.

Minerals off the market will cost you 180m to build an abaddon, but "Minerals I mine are free" will sell it to you for 103m. Because that is how much it can be refined for back to the market.

45% reduction in price on all T1 modules, and many meta modules doesn't seem terribly bad.

Many meta modules prices are definitely are going to drop by 45%, which will hurt mission runners.

However, I expect T1s won't drop that much. The flip side to the reprocessing nerf is that it makes building stuff riskier.Because if you build something and the price drops drastically, you can always reprocess.

Nerfing reprocessing means the potential for losing money is a lot higher.

Will it really cause ship prices to drop by that much? As prices drop, people wont bother mining so much as it becomes worthless, or at least those that do wont be selling to the normal highsec markets. Cheap ships could be a nice thing tho.
