Perpetuum's (still alive and kicking apparently!) and now they dropped something which like a bombshell.
With integration into Steam distribution, they announced a pay-once payment model which is similar to Guildwar.

http://blog.perpetuum-online.com/posts/2014-03-16-the-end-of-subscriptions-the-start-of-something-new/

They modified their SP (aka EP in their terms) accruals plus a number of other changes in the game mechanics.
Basic premise is you have to login and play in order to accrue SP, plus Premium/Std account mechanics which confers 50% boost for premium.

Hmm ..... all I need now is an active bot that just logs in play for me P Nevertheless, this change bears watching from now on, imo.
Speculate away folks.

On the other hand Pathfinder Online, which also uses the EVE skill model, is proposing that if your skill queue runs out while you are offline the SP will simply accumulate and can be allocatable where-ever you want when you return.

Hmmm, that is promising.

What's sexist is assuming he was talking about female breasts. You must admit, it's possible he meant man-boobs.

No it isn't.

Clearly, you've never been to Michigan.

You may want to hold off on getting excited about it. I've followed PTO for two years and it's still vaporware. Yes, it looks promising, yes they have good ideas.

But they literally are still in drawing board mode.

What I suggest, if you are interested in a sandbox game, is The Repopulation. It has major promise (the developer stated SWG and UO as his primary influences), and is free to play to boot, with cosmetic microtransactions only. I backed it on Kickstarter a while ago. It's much closer to completion.

So, what you're saying is, James has nicer boobs than me, because he lives in Michigan?

This cannot stand. James Amril-Kesh, I challenge you to a breast-off. **** at ten paces!

Yeah, that didn't occur to me. But it doesn't surprise me that I have. My Goonfleet profile also states that I'm from Michigan, so if you have an alt in the CFC you could have seen it there too.

Trust me man, it ain't worth it! I opted for a cup size larger when I got reconstruction done, due to a roadside bomb. Once I was up and mobile, I had backaches for months.

I envy you men, what with your flat chests and all that.

All that means is they need to find a better way to make implants or different materias doing the same job with less weight.

That would require a less dense material, which could potentially turn them into actual floatation devices.

Not objecting. Just sayin'....

This is great news, buy to play and a life time subscription. The bears mostly are going to love mining/trading and the vastly improved industry side of this game, without the need for subs or grinding PLEX.

CCP needs to watch out for this one.
