I can see use for the drone launcher, especially on drone ships that lack a compelling reason to fit much of anything in their highs.

However, I read the real point of these as their ability to pass forcefields, either keeping the launching ship safe (no) or attacking ships that cant dock that have been parked under POS shields (lol, no).
