Einstein predicted them, now it's just a question of subject to peer verification for gravity waves to become thing instead of just a theory.

It's a small start on the bigger answers, but atm baby steps is all we're capable of :)

Now I'm wondering what the String Theory people will be doing with this info
cos from my limited understanding of this they were thinking gravity wasn't localised to our specific universe and could possibly bleed through.

tbh it might all be interesting stuff, but it does make my brain hurt trying to rationalise it into something I can cope with.

Human mind is not really confined to thinking of the rules this world has, it has problems with realising them also, especially the things we cant see, or touch, if we can't even visualise many things, we have to use "translations". On a different side, probably our minds are the most mallable in the universe, also unrestricted in many different ways, most of which leads to stupid actions. Lol
