New Discovery! Client Loses SP in the Name of Science!

So we had a client in the bonus round last night/this morning for over 6 hours. While e was only asked for 1 alpha pod, he volunteered many more to test out a theory.

If you place max buy orders and lose trade skillpoints, will your buy orders be auto cancelled?

In jita right now you can see roughly 300 buy orders for Avatars for 1 isk each. He did lose trade skillpoints, and they were cancelled!

You learn something new everyday! Also, apparently if you rapidly place orders, you get a warning message and limitation... can only do so many every minute.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. More details may be available soon on www.minerbumping.com for the exciting story.

I approve of podding in the name of science.


I actually approve of podding in the name of anything, but people actually respect science, so Ill go with that.

Did this client win his round? I heard that the possible payout was so big that even escrow agents were having difficulty pulling together all of the money.

The payout is so large we considered including an Avatar in the prize. But towards the end, some questions were raised. You'd think a guy who sings like 30 songs wouldn't hesitate with anything. But I don't want to ruin the story. I have a feeling that this story along with its exciting ending will appear on mb soon.

I wonder if changing the price (and hence refreshing the expire date of the order) will effect which ones get cancelled.
