I was excited hear the comic book come out and would like collect them, however, it's just disappointed. The entire book only cover page and second page seems from EVE Online, other than that just some incomplete drafts, thoes guys treat Eve as a quick gig, really insult the fame of our Eve. How ccp's artists could stand with those kinds ***** under Eve online's title ???!!! It is just insult EVE online's quality.
Also don't let "this is the style" as excuse.

I disagree, a finely crafted, well interjected swear word is a joy to behold and an asset in any conversation.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

**** right

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

You seem really upset. Upset enough to make 2 other threads in both Live Events Here and Fiction Here.

Posting in a "Grr Goons have Comix" thread.

Yeah, because Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Walking Dead and most superhero comic movies were TOTES better than the source material. Comics were just quick gigs.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

The problem being that a finely crafted, well interjected swear word is just about as rare as a Dodo.

My parents used to have (still have i think) some fridge magnet type things called "Shakespears insults" you could arrange the little magnets into long winded profanities like "I hope your mother mothers goat becomes inflicted by veneral disease and one of it's ambulatory organs becomes shrizzled" or somesuch.

New Scientist (Paywall)

If you can't be bothered to purchase the article, the TL;DR is that curse words effect the human psyche and body in a way other words do not. In most laboratory environments it was shown that swearing triggers an adrenaline response much like the "fight or flight" response commonly known for being our basic reaction to danger. However, substitute words "fark" "frak" "frick" do not trigger similar reactions, so instead of being the impetus of an event i.e stubbing your toe, it is actually the word itself that promotes the physiological reaction.

Most notably participants were able to undergo greater pain and for longer while reporting less pain while cursing than a control group using both arbitrary words "fish" "frank" and substitutes like those listed above.

I can't find a source to cite at this time but the head of the Gestapo during WWII apparently stated that the best way to uncover a female spy is to listen to her swear during childbirth - it was purportedly always the native language.

Can't wait for the 10hr mini-series. The only problem I see is that the critics will complain that the battle sequences will be "too slow" or "choppy and awkward".

This will be easily remedied by just recording the entire series first and then watching it at 10x speed.

Hence, why swearing is a part of military boot camp.
