Eve launcher not responding with windows 8

I have windows 8 pro 64 bit and the Eve launcher fails when ever I click anywhere inside the launcher window. 2 Eve launcher processes are present in task manager with one of them showing as "Not responding".

I can run the eve client manually and login/update fine. I tried using compatibility mode as windows 8/7/xp and none of them work. I tried to find the dmp file but can't find it anywhere. Windows 8 doesn't save it in the same place as windows 7. Here are my specs...

OS: Windows 8
CPU: AMD FX 8350
Ram: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Mobo: MSI 990FXA-GD80v2
Storage: Primary SSD 100GB
Secondary: Seagate 3TB x2 3 Partitions 500GB, 2TB (1TB on each drive) Raid 0, 1TB HDD disc 2, 2TB free
GPU: EVGA 660 Ti triple SLi
Monitor: Triple head HP LV2311 (Nvidia Surround)
Resolution: 5760 x 1080
