How do I tell what ship/module is being used against me?

Im having trouble understanding something.

If I am being webbed or nos'd and have multiple targets up, how do I tell what ship is doing it to me so I can ECM them?

I get the icon above the capacitor meter, but I dont know where it is coming from.

Leave a little gap on the right hand side of your overview, there are little ewar icons.

I mean like a little unassigned column. Squash all your other columns down a bit.

No offense, but in addition to Overview icons (which are small) CCP just for people like you placed bigger icons right above the HUD/shield display.

Here is example:

You can see the Overview icon and you can see enemy main EW icon just above the shield display of the HUD. Since the rat is doing EW, it is disrupting the player (since rats don't scram).

Also, when you click on the icon above the HUD, you will be able to target the ship that is doing "bad things" to you.

Hover the mouse over the icon and it will list all of the ships doing it.

spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
