Innaugural Developer Spotlight: CCP Punkturis

Hello everyone and welcome to our first ever Developer Spotlight! What is a Developer Spotlight? Well, there are hundreds of people working on EVE Online, but for most players, the developers are avatars on a forum or maybe people you see for a few minutes on a stream or at a player gathering. But everyone here is, believe it or not, a person behind the dev name! And some of us even have lives outside of EVE Online.

So what are us developers like? What exactly do we do when we're in the office and out of it? How did we get on this crazy train that is CCP Games? That's what we're going to explore in these Developer Spotlights, which will come out every other week on Thursday afternoon.

For our first Developer Spotlight, we're taking a look at a player favorite, CCP Punkturis! Read about her here, feel free to ask questions in this thread, and let me know who else you might want to learn more about!

Seeing it was Punkturis, I came to preemptively complain that devblog was not in pink. Actually opened the devblog. Meets all hopes. 10/10.

The ship in question is in fact too pink to be caught in image form. All that have tried have met an "Ark of the Covenant"-style face-melting.

This can't be right. I thought the Eve community was supposed to be a bunch of sexist louts?

Are you telling me that the Eve community actually respects real talent and the sex of the Developer/Community Manager isn't important?

Talent is talent and Punkturis has it.

I've had some sexist remarks but because the EVE community is awesome they tell people who do such things how to behave
