This is like paper rock scissors except you have to wait 3 hours before showing your hand, and then when you do, the other guy might walk away instead of showing you his.

People will play Star Citizen because they'll be able to turn the PvP off, not because of its PvP. As for instant on demand PvP? RvB offer that already, so do the various groups all over Eve that actively hunt down other players and shoot them in the face.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Lol Humour.

Not only does EVE already have that, should SC ever be released, its minute-scale instant-off PvP will have the smashing power of a slightly inebriated Wagtail.

Goe, you're obviously dissatisfied with the product and/or service provided to you by CCP. Since your stated intention is to biomass your character, might I propose a path of action that might at least bring you, a well-adjusted and compassionate individual, some marginal level of satisfaction and fulfillment.

Contract all of your isk and possessions to PotatoOverdose and I will, for a small processing fee, donate the proceeds of their sale to 12 worthy trial accounts so that they might have a better virtual experience in our online community.

Nonsense! Star Citizen will be the first ever MMO to launch on time, with all the features advertised pre-release, and to work perfectly on day 1.

It's simply irrational to believe anything else.

Why is it that EVE is the only MMO where someone claims not to hate the game blah blah and then they keep on ranting and flaming it on the forums for days ?

My retort to that is the alliance tournament. If the game is rock paper scissors then we would see a collection of teams win or perform well in the tourney once they figure out which rock or scissors to bring, but we consistently see a handful of the same teams perform at a high level.

Yes as in all balanced games there is counters to everything, somethings you are strong against and somethings you are weak against, but choosing the right tool must be a factor in winning.

For instance the in the Wehurt vs HUN game they brought a vargur setup against a geddon with blaster setup. According to the rock paper scissors rule the game should have been won by the HUN team, but because the Wehurt vargur pilot had the presence of mind to actually move that vargur and with some boss piloting skills they were able to take that game.

In EVE skills are definitely part of the winning equation, the difference is the pregame does have a lot of weight, but not all, which actually is something that makes it unique, combining both aspects of strategy and tactics.

In a nutshell, I think you suck at PVP and you are using this as an excuse.

Anecdotal evidence from playing several other MMO's but then again those games also tanked pretty badly, so maybe they just didn't care any longer even to rant.

Totally. Saw a breacher solo trolling station undocks deep in sov null and getting away because low sig, ability to pull range, evade points n webs.
OP met a breacher fit as a cure for his dual rep Incursus and calls it a game problem, when actually it perfectly shows how the game is great because there is a cure for every single thing that can be fielded.
OP is terrible.

Pretty much this, for every fit there is a counter, you just have to find it.

Lol. I remember when STO was going to "kill" Eve. Roll. If you truly believe that, then you don't "get" Eve or its community at all.

The only thing can kill Eve is CCP Tuxford.

Edit: p.s. The other guy left because you showed your hand. Eve is a tactical game, full of traps and deception. Maybe CoD would be more your speed?

Well **** a duck.

And while everyone rambles, rails would give the impression to do the trick against breachers, if it wasnt for their cap advantage over hybrids, and the fact I'm stuck with using those ****** guns, no cap, and a ****-staring community to play with ;)

Joy.
