Can I download the latest patch externally and apply it to my install?

I only have about 500 MB left on my data cap and the patch is about 1.2 GB, so I'm only going to be able to download half the patch before my cap runs out.

I was wondering if there was a way to download the latest patch in full on my laptop on a different network and throw it onto my desktop to patch my client? I don't want to lose any settings, but I can download the full client if the settings don't get deleted.

Any ideas?

Can I just copy EVE_Online_734685-740727_win.patch into my other install directory directly? Anyone know?

Goddamn it, I can't apply the downloaded patch because of Rubicon 1.3.1. Any way to apply Rubicon 1.3.0 and THEN download 1.3.1? Any help much appreciated.
