Hello,

So i've done a fair amount of drone sites now, but I find that drones sites are not worthwhile doing. I never really understood the necessity of doing these sites, because serpentis/blood/guristas/etc are much more worthwhile doing them because they drop more valuable loot. I never experienced a good loot drop with roque drones. Can anyone explain me the benefits/ Loot drops for completing these sites anyway?

A long time ago Rogue Drones used to drop a alloy or compound that contained a large quantity (per m3) of minerals, this was removed and such the Rogue Drone Signatures and Anomalies became all but worthless.

As of 1.3 they decided to have the Sentient Rogue Drones have a small chance to drop a nexus chip that can be exchanged to an Astero, Stratios, or Nestor.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Yeah i've read something like that. But does that also apply to high sec sentient drones or only to 0 sec ones?

All sentient drones, sentient frigate drones will drop the Nexus Chip for the Astero those will mostly be found in high sec, the Cruiser Sentient Drones will drop the Nexus Chip for the Stratios and will generally be found in low sec, the Battleship Sentient Drones will drop the Nexus chip for the Nestor and will generally be found in 0.0

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

A long long time ago, CCP introduced rogue drone faction parts. And they were expensive. Then everyone trained t2 drones and no one cared anymore. And the rogue drones dropped lots of salvage, and no one cared about that either. Then CCP gave drones nexus chips, but thats kind of a pittance for sites that have virtually no other worthwhile loot.

They are not worth running if you have pirate sites available.
