This is why you should never go below -2 faction standing, you corp standing will be overruled by faction standing, if the faction standing is -2 or lower. Once you go below -2 faction standing, you standing with any any corporation and all agents belonging to that faction will be -2, and will remain their until you get your faction standing above -2.

From personal experience i'll say the -2 rules is be fare the worst standing mechanic to recover from, because of the time consuming process of training skills, and running level 1 missions might be your only option. There are guides that explain the most efficient way to regain faction standing, but it really is something you want to avoid if you can.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Corporation standings are used for jump clones, not faction standings.
