Marauders dont animate when bastion anymore. checked all 4. none of them animate

edit:

forgot.

when i tell a ship to dock, even if i have autopilot on and alt tab out the ship never docks. just sits outside of station until i tab back to the game and then the ship docks. and it isnt just a visual glitch, i checked with another ship sitting outside watching. my ship that is supossed to dock just sits there until i activate that window .

I had to like this post simply because this patch is so bad that it made someone who never posted before come onto the forums and question CCP's interest in the problems of it's users.

Well thank you for the like, an the quote. More of a chance for ccp to see people don't like putting up with this things like this. I peronally love this game, and pick it over countless free games out in the internetz. More on top of that fact, I live out in the middle of the woods so dial up is my only option, that said, I go to extreme lengths to play this. but I get the feeling the random user agrees or cares more about my post than the people I give money to. sad world. sad face.

I'm having massive TCP loss when downloading the patch, which is slowing it down to it down to a crawl.

Since there aren't any drops with ICMP, I'm guessing something is screwed up in the datacenter.

Rookie here. This is my first update. I'm into hour no. 5 and only 2/4 complete. I have been debating wether to continue playing this game and this update may be the final nail in the coffin.

Reading the update notes, as a rookie, it doesn't seem to benefit me or make the game more fun.

Someone tell me that it gets better or I'm cutting my losses.

Ditto, same for me I have never posted in the forums before until today, a few posts ago, due to the lack of the horrible patch be have been given do deal with.

Fix this **** now! I still can not update the game, got about half way and it crashes. It is downloading at 100 kb/s a second and my internet is a hell lot faster than that.

These download speeds are horrid. There is something wrong here.

+1 on the patcher getting stuck etc. Trying the repair tool now.

For those complaining about the speed.. consider how to provide the bandwidth necessary to roll something of this size out to all of the Eve players. Or the bandwidth of their content delivery network's closest data center anyway. Let's say they have an OC3 connection, with some rough math that gives them about 80 people simultaneously downloading at 250 KB/s (my current rate). Given where I live, I figure there are probably quite a bit more than 80 people downloading the patch from that location around now, so I'm glad to even be getting that rate.

Having the same problem, launcher stops at some point and never moves again. Repair tool does something similar. All my other applications slow down and eventually stop working when this is going on and the launcher wont close, so i have to restart each time i try this. It's frustrating.

I'm guessing there wont be a fix until tomorrow, but it would have been nice to get an update or two. Something along the lines of, "we are aware of the problem and working really hard to fix it" would be fine, even if it wasnt true.

FYI repair tool is going @ 3kb/s atm, stuck on 86.2% download.

Seeking another method, will update if I get a fix

I have been downloading for 6 hours now. I tried the repair tool and it appears to be working. However, it will complete downloading the patch in about 8 hours.

I guess Kathleen Sebelius found a job at CCP.

I have att uverse with an upgraded DSL connection. I have never had download issues before.

This is frustrating. Come home from work and I get to stare at a download page - and I paid for this?

FIX FOUND!

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2z7uMoPuqFKZUZ4eGxnUi1rQUE/edit?pli=1

download (I recommend to your desktop for ease finding later)
start launcher
in the setting menu of the launcher select the patches tab
click "Import patch"
enter file location (you saved it to desktop right?) highlight and press open

The launcher will now load the patch, then apply it (mine took some 5 minutes)

Done and done.

Credit to Caviar Liberta for uploading the patch file!

you might have had a jove fitting saved. If you did you have to make a support ticket so the devs can delete that fitting from the saves.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

The progress bar in the launcher window doesn't update when the mouse is not over the window. This doesn't matter in the slightest of course, it's just something I noticed. I personally wouldn't bother fixing it.

EDIT: Creating a new thread, because I guess this isn't 1.3 related. It has been this way forever.

I'm sitting in my paladin, in space, and it is very pretty.
I open up the fittings window to see all my statistical awesomeness and marvel at how it updates as i turn on hardeners.
I turn on the bastion model and delight that all the navigation and targeting dropdowns update immediately and so do most of the sections under defense.

....

Then I am sad, because the part that shows Armor HP rep/sec does not update when I turn on bastion mode. I know I could do a simple bit of math and just multiply it by two, but I shouldn't have to. Everything else updates, why not this?

I got a Feature Added!

Patch took a long time to download last night, but installed successfully.

However, I'm another one who can't access personal fittings; I can confirm that I had at least one Jove ship, probably more than one, saved for curiosity's sake, and now my personal fittings are showing as 0/200. When I switch to corporate fittings, that works fine (no Jove ships), but switching from corporate back to personal fittings makes the fittings browser kind of unresponsive. (I'll have more time to test that out tonight, unless there's a patch fixing it in the meantime.)
