The "Hospital Sin"?

So as I train up to qualify as a Black Ops pilot, I've been reading various opinions on the various Black Ops battleships. What I've gleaned so far: the Widow looks more awesome than it actually is, the Panther's fastest but sacrifices combat power, the Redeemer is the best heavy-gank option, and the Sin shouldn't be flown unless it's set up as a "hospital Sin".

Since the Sin's the only ship for which I've got racial V, I drew the conclusion that I should set up a hospital Sin ... at which point my Google-fu and killboard searches failed me, and I found myself theorycrafting blind, from the hull up. Starting with remote armor reps and RAR rigs, I ended up with the following:

===
[Sin, Hospital Scratch]
Damage Control II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
1600mm Reinforced Steel Plates II
1600mm Reinforced Steel Plates II
Reactive Armor Hardener

Large Micro Jump Drive
Warp Disruptor II
Heavy Capacitor Booster II, Navy Cap Booster 800
Warp Scrambler II
Heavy Capacitor Booster II, Navy Cap Booster 800
100MN Afterburner II

Improved Cloaking Device II
Large 'Solace' Remote Armor Repairer
Large 'Solace' Remote Armor Repairer
Large 'Solace' Remote Armor Repairer
Large 'Solace' Remote Armor Repairer
Large 'Solace' Remote Armor Repairer
Large 'Solace' Remote Armor Repairer

Large Remote Repair Augmentor I

Garde II x5
Ogre II x5

===

I haven't decided on my utility drones, and I know I could probably get better performance with a faction cloak and probably other semi-shiny stuff, but I'm open to suggestions on how to improve it - preferably something that can be flown without having to fit a slot-6 fitting implant or Genolutions.

(Bearing in mind that I don't have the hull or laser skills to fly a Redeemer at all, and biomassing myself is not on the table.)

Thanks in advance!

I'm sure some other people with more blops experience will offer some better insights, but my initial reactions:

-Why dual points. Why fit tackle at all? Hospital sin will have other people to handle that. I would throw on sebos or ECCM.
-Why afterburner. if you're going to dual prop, do mwd/mjd
-Dunno about them ogres. A set of longer-range sentries would be better, and give you a second damage type.

That is a weird conclusion to come to.

As for the fit, I guess it's okay but I'm still curious as to why one would need a "hospital sin" when blopsing to begin with.

edit: Change the AB for a MWD. Your rep range is really low and it's easier to be able to maneuver yourself in position to be able to repair than expect others to do it for you. Also has the added bonus of requiring less cap boosters to be jump ready.

No sig.

Welp, I labeled that fit as "scratch" for a reason. Thanks for the advice; I'll go back and rejigger it some.

and the Sin shouldn't be flown unless it's set up as a "hospital Sin".

that is flat out wrong. sin has a nice amount of mids for ewar and between drones and either rails or blasters it has not too shabby dps. Also dont be afraid to go slightly more blingy on your fit, its a black ops. it really benefits from some faction and deadspace. such as gist c type mwd, t2 rigs, c-type hardeners, nothing too expensive but it sure adds a lot.

Off the line of a direct 'logistic' sin, I fly a bit of a jack-of-all-trades Sin thats never let me down. Just make sure you're jacked to the eyeballs on coffee because this is potentially the king of all micro-management.

Add drones to taste and away you go. You can pull a fair bit of the fitting mods (I know people might be grabbing the pitchforks and burning torches at this point) if you ditch the bridge; I just like having it on there for my own peace of mind.
