So I bought a Machariel and fittings because I really like the ship and was wondering if this is a good fit.

Just general use, missions and the like. What would you change and why?

There is no "general use" fit, because "general use" doesn't exist.

Also, it's hilariously overblinged and will get you ganked, stop thinking you need fancy bling or fit it "because expensive is cool yo", it's not needed. First you need to focus on a use (it's probably going to be lvl 4 missions) so remove the neut, remove all the lol faction/deadspace stuff and replace with named or T2, keep 2 faction gyros, keep a DS shield booster but no b,a or x type nonsense and switch the rigs to something useful like a T2 RoF and "whatever else".

Are you doing missions or ratting or what?

That's going to be a rather quick, very expensive loss.

If you want to PVP, start with frigates. You'll lose a lot of them to start with and frigates are a little easier to replace than a multi-billion ISK faction battleship

Nah I'm not gonna fly it yet for reasons stated above BUT when I do fly a Mach it will be pimp, if I wanted to fly something "practical" with a "good" fit I'd t2 fit a tempest or domi. This is supposed to be as OP as I can make it as I went into it looking to spend a ****ton of isk

It is an excellent fit, you should keep the fit as is, or maybe bling it up a little more (more officer mods) and fly it in Black Rise lowsec when you PvP. It's a really OP fit and I doubt anything can kill you.

Level 4s? MWD Mach or go home. See 'keep at' distance to 12km. Mwd up to the NPC, web it, blow it up. Rinse and repeat. You'll clear the pocket before cap becomes a problem.

Drones are up in the air. Keep a flight 5 for frigates. NPCs die pretty quickly to the guns, so I prefer to use TP and Web drones (which have 10+km optimals.) Sentry drones and MWDs don't mix. Heavy combat drones are too slow. This is optimized for Angels. Don't turn the auto-targeter on, it's just there for the additional target locks. CPU is a bit tight (only 3.25 CPU remaining.) You can faction the T2 gyro or hardeners to free up CPU.

Obviously you don't want to use this for your PvP fit second (and soon to be only) Mach.

You'll want the two damage implants and a warp speed implant in slot six.


Fyi: the RF TE provides an extra 0.5% tracking over the T2 version. The 4th RF Gyro provides 7 more dps over the 4th T2 Gyro. Neither are worth the money, even in the pursuit of bling fits.
