How about the creepy Japanese Ronald McDonald commercials? I guess they just went ahead and acknowledged that Ronald is a weird and pretty annoying clown character.

They managed to work some naughtiness in on that one. Smile

This isn't weird, it's just an unfortunate name for a tube-shaped chocolate-filled candy: collon. (Maybe the name is supposed to be an anglicized version of the Japanese word koron, which is sound a rolling object makes. "These candies can roll koron, koron, koron."

Here is the thing I respect greatly about their mentality.... The Japanese, in general, are the POLITEST Society I have ever witnessed. However, that politeness does not mean they are passive.

It's a huge disrespect to litter there. It's disgusting (it really is) to them to the point that they will actually do stuff to make sure you don't do so again, unlike here in America where you'll get a fine, and our streets are filthy. It's an HONOR to clean your neighbors yard of trash (I am going off of what I have been told, not personal experience, and so I could well be wrong here). I'm sure Japan has it's share of dirt bags, every group has them. But RESPECT for one another seems to be a point of National Pride.

I am equally sure (hasn't History showed us this) that if given proper motivation, Japanese people will whoop some booty.
