Black Screen Where Eve Should be ...

Since the patch on 5-Mar, when i try to log into Eve all i see is a black screen.

The launcher goes to the character selection screen but selecting a character doesn't log me into the game - only a black screen.

If I leave the client, I get the 'Server Delayed' message after 5 minutes and i can click to see the remote call debugger.

I've run repair, cleared caches etc, etc.

Submitted a ticket on the 6-Mar and after some initial 'help' nothing was resolved and now Eve support is silent.

Anyone else having this issue, or maybe found a resolution?

Are you running a firewall program like ZoneAlarm? I had a similar issue and had to uninstall ZoneAlarm to be able to log in. Later I reinstalled ZoneAlarm, then was able to log into Eve but started having other wanted programs blocked. ZoneAlarm is now gone completely. Unsure if this helps, but it's all I could think of and seeing as you've gotten no other responses I thought I'd try.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't use Zone Alarm and have disabled the firewall as a test.

Also reinstalled my current Eve version in a clean Win7 virtual machine (no virus scanner/firewall) and the same issue is seen.
