Also, a secret service is utterly different from a criminal investigation organization. Not even comparable.

Sigh.
Are we talking about the US FBI? Cause it's starting to sound like you're referring to some other country's FBI.

the FBI is a nation wide "police" in the united states that deal with crime that crosses state borders. "Federal" crimes

The United States Secret Service is a part of the department of treasure and deal with financial crime and the protection of the president, ex presidents, presidential candidates and visiting heads of state.

the CIA on the other hand is an intelligence gathering agency that operates on an international level.

I didn't suggest that the FBI is the secret service by title. I was comparing it with the USSR secret service because I think their track record for honesty and justice are similar.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Post links to this alleged "track record", that reflects that of the USSR, of the FBI.....................

Most countries don't even have an FBI because the police already operates on a national level.

American investigators reviewing a hard drive belonging to the captain of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 have found that there were deletions of information even closer to the final flight than first indicated by Malaysian officials, U.S. law enforcement officials tell CNN."

"It's possible too that some damage could have been done during the first examinations done by Malaysian investigators."

"Malaysian authorities waited six days to search the pilots' homes. This was enough time, U.S. officials believe, for someone who had access to the homes perhaps to have tampered with evidence."

Indications found of files deleted closer to Malaysian Airline flight

Say what, Malaysian official ?

From article lead-line at CNN: "Some of the objects were as much as 75 feet long and appeared to be solid, a Malaysian official says."

Were they somehow expecting the debris to be a liquid, gas, (or plasma) ????????

Methinks they would have just vanished the whole plane. No wreckage.

Anyway, I sure hope they can find that black box. If it was not a pilot hijacking, we seriously need to know what happened.

There may be some fundamental flaw in the 787 series, or whatever it is.........

Ah .. finally, a short rhetoric on one of the elephants.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/why-was-the-malaysian-mh370-flight-not-detected-by-the-diego-garcia-us-naval-and-intelligence-base-in-the-indian-ocean/5375272

The RMAF military radar that detected the blip when MH370 turned back reportedly had a 250 nautical mile range.

I wonder, what it'll take to surprise the US base at Diego Garcia if someone takes one of the more modern (non-stealth) bomber and approach it at low altitude to attempt radar avoidance. No US airforce generals would be this stupid to fall for such an obvious manuever right? :) ... and that doesn't even touch secondary/backup surveillance from other US intel sources.

The silence is telling.

It's too far away for the plane to have made it that far.

Maldives to Diego Garcia is around ~700 miles/1126km/608 nautical miles. That's well within the reach of long range OTH radars.
Diego Garcia is highly strategic to the US interests in the Indian Ocean theatre, among other things.

Is anyone naive enough to believe their surveillance systems don't reach up to the Maldives? .. a mere 600 nautical miles.
Well, I'd be disappointed with the US capabilities with their puny radar capability then. It's such a lovely location Smile

They probably know where the damned plane went down, but revealing that would expose Top Secret military capabilities they probably do not want nefarious governments to know about.

This may also explain Malaysia's initial reluctance with information. tell the world how you know something, and a lot can be figured out.........

this article discusses the right questions vs the soapboax drama on the mainstream.
Don't even need to be genius to see where the mainstream news is pushing public perception towards ;)

I'm disappointed it took them that long to realize it.

It's announced the flight crashed. The media reports suggest debris field, oil slicks, navigation changes, inaccurate S&R locations, military/navy has no idea, nothing, no one has any idea.

well hear this: they just now deployed blackbox detector planes. ...Do you know what that means?
