I would like to be able to log 2 of my account alts on at the same time. albeit with restrictions. And that restriction would be that I can only have 1 character in space at a time.

for example I am coming back from a market hub, it would be nice to have the option of putting that ship on auto pilot, logging into another account alt in order to do some trading, or setting up PI or manufacturing jobs rather than having to log off my in space character (and therefore not continue on his journey) to do things on my other toons.

Nope, I dont think i am, I would be currently unable to log on to 2 toons from the same account no matter the alliance.

I would actually suggest something to make this workable, and explain the PLEX precedent we already have in place for it.

I would suggest allowing a secondary login, even a tertiary would be valid.

Having a desired character on a separate account is the current accepted means here.
It also makes for poor advertising, since you only see this character by logging into the other account, you are not reminded of it every time you log into your main account.

Now, the precedent:
We can PLEX these accounts, and have full use without an active subscription. This is great for CCP, since a subscription brings in less money than that PLEX does.
We can even activate a second training queue on the same account, by PLEX.

This suggests to me the permission of a secondary login makes sense, for two reasons.

1>> The player can spend that PLEX for access / training without the burden of long term commitment.
(I can use the character in tandem without losing total access after the month ends, if I can only sustain one account moving forward)

2>> On a case by case basis, CCP has higher profit from PLEX than subs, it means they have more money to pay their talented staff with, making the talented staff happy to make the game better each day.
And yes, they are consistent and reliable. Don't forget we have many players who rely exclusively on PLEX. It is as effectively stable just like subs for that reason.
