In show info window on a starship.

The agility modifier is an obscure number that doesnt on its own really have much meaning.

Most dev posts in this forum end up quoting align time for a description of a ships agility.
This is much more useful.

Please include it in a ships info panel.
The value should be calculated to take into accounts mods / rigs / skills for the active ship of course like other information in the show info.

Align time should be time to warp from a standing start expressed in seconds rounded UP to 2 decimal places.

e..g
Real align time 4.000001

display as Align Time 4.01 seconds.

align times change depending on what angle you are to your outward direction,
So this is affected more by the velocity/acceleration, as a slow ship would align and then take a while to get up to speed to warp.

Yes

Thats why dev blogs quote a value from a standing start.

The purpose is not to give you a quote of how long it will take to get to warp from any random direction.
The purpose is to tell you how long it take to get to warp from gate cloak, this is a very important value.

Its also a better comparitive indicator of ship performance in agility as you dont have to do maths involving mass and inerita mod to get to a value that better discribes if your ship is agile or not.
