I know right, next Gevlon will say how he has contributed to the HERO Coalition... Grr.

That's funny. Anyone who thinks there will be any further contact between TEST and GG obviously isn't paying attention. The bridge is burned, and no one wants to rebuild

In a couple of hours RvB will be at war with noir., marmite and lemmings ( to support our goon masters of course. It has nothing to do with keeping our word and honoring our agreement Roll).

Should be interesting. We missed out on going to war with BNI when they upped and moved on us (after we moved 3K ships next door to barle... grrr....) so this will be a different but just as interesting challenge.

The good thing about fighting RvB is that you guys will actually fight. Can always expect you lot to come out swinging. GL to everyone in the coming week with this wardec. I know i'll enjoy myself :)

According to his blog, gevlon is spending 40 B a month on his grrr goon project. Its been going on for what? Two months now? And hes taken 2 pocos... That if I had to guess the goons will have taken back pretty soon.

I don't know if I should be amused or be sad for him. Thats a spectacular poor return on that much isk.

When the goons bought RvB for zero isk now that was a bargain (so long as they don't sing)!

Why is it so hard for people to understand that we freely entered into a mutually beneficial agreement with goons? I mean sure we didn't foresee that an irrational being would spend 40 billion a month trying and failing to take those POCOs and under normal circumstances we'd have gotten bored of this conflict a while ago, but since Gevlon lacks any hint of knowledge about how to interact socially with others and has been insulting RvB in every other blog post, he's managed to make sure that we stayed in.

Because it's obviously all lies! I mean come on, which is more likely? A mutually beneficial agreement (laughable! Nobody has those!), or goons created your entire group years ago in anticipation of CCP one day releasing high sec assets which would require defending, then rather than creating them all under the alt alliance, created a handful under the goons banner, guaranteeing they would be attacked requiring the veil to be dropped from their alt alliance. Common sense surely states that it must be the latter.

Normally I'd just leave this as is, but since there's some pretty special people in Lemmings that probably won't get it, the above was sarcasm.

'Why is it so hard for people to understand that we freely entered into a mutually beneficial agreement with goons?'
Since you are goon pets it does does surprise anyone in the least that you have 'entered' into this agreement. I would have been surprised if you hadn't as that would have put you in direct conflict with your masters wouldn't it?

As for having to spend 40bn to try and take some pocos in highsec i would say that the mechanic for the pocos in highsec is pretty much broken. So good going Mr Goblin for empowering highsec to fight back against the goons dispite this poorly thought out mechanic and shame on you RvB members for being used so.

Paying out 40 billion is a bad business investment however standing against the goons is not just about the isk is it. I would have thought the joint RvB/goon wormhole expeditionary force would have know that.

Edit :
@Professor Clio
I don't judge RvB by their actions four years ago although I seem to have read about that somewhere but I do form an opinion about the actions of RvB now. And RvB actions now are of a goons pet. You think that everyone thinks RvB are goons pets because of Gevlons posts think again, you can even have my tinfoil hat.
PS I don't think the Mittaini can see the future.

So Joseph, if I read your post right you seem to think that rvb entered into an agreement with goons because we were already their pets? Putting aside all evidence to the contrary (like the skype logs of Mangala approaching mynnna and proposing the deal in the first place), that tells me that you buy into gevlons tinfoilish theory that, over 4 years ago, goons created rvb to protect yet unexistant highsec assets.

How can anyone even remotely in touch with reality believe that? That theory is dumber than a bag of doorknobs (unless you think that the mittani is literally the devil anf can see the future)

Yeah I'm with Professor Clio with the confusion on this one. this kinda seems like the good old effect preceding cause thing, where they are goons pets because they entered into the agreement, and they entered into the agreement only because they are goon pets. Overall its just badly played propaganda.

In what way would you say it is broken? Competent players can take POCOs with relative ease. When you pay a group who has trouble moving away from a gate or an undock though, and you set a recruitment bar of "anyone", then you aren't exactly going to get the most bang for your buck.

As for "fighting back", fighting back against what? Goons had the lowest taxed POCOs, while the Marmite ones have 100% tax. Goons may do the occasional heavily announced interdiction or burn Jita, but Gevlon, the new marmite leader went out of his way to gank people for months. Marmite themselves gank all the time, and wardec small and helpless corps to boost their killboard stats and harvest high sec tears. What exactly did goons do to you to make you so butthurt that you want to side with some of the worst elemnts of high sec?

Yes, I'm sure its not about isk, it's about impact, which there has been none. I haven't seen anything in null (you know, where the CFC live) actually affected by what you guys are doing. That's because all you are doing is KB padding. By all means, carry on. Eventually when nothing changes you will get bored, but until then, throwing away isk keeps you from being able to do anything that does have an impact.

Clearly the answer is to throw more isk at this and double down on the nasty surprises. I'd like to see what happens when Gevlon increases his investment to 100b a month...

Then you'll really be sorry!

I suggest Gevlon do a surge on Saint Patrick's Day, while Goons are drunk. Storm VFK with every ship he can muster. If Gevlon is able to lose 300b of ships to the Goons on that day, I'll cover SRP.

It does seem like morale is pretty low in lemmings these days. They took an hour to form up a dozen guys today, then gave up on their op and the FC sent an angry mail about mandatory CTAs *Snip* Removed external link. ISD Ezwal.

I mean I get it, shooting structures while not knowing if RvB will drop a fleet on yours and kill it must get frustrated. It was pretty funny all the raging about spies that happened when we dropped on their safe last night during their form up. Of course we in RvB have been dealing with the problems of open recruitment for years so we learned to deal with the inevitable spies a while ago. I'm sure lemmings will too, if lack of participation in fleets doesn't make them failcascade first.

Then why don't you ask him if he'll pay you that much to do it....?

That's what any sane and nonintimidated mercenary would do.

Be like "Hey buddy your 40B is going to waste attacking us, give us 60B and we'll attack these guys over here"

...or is a vengeful Mittani to scary for you?
