after i pick which toon i want to play it goes to a black screen. esc works but only to bring menu up and down. restarted client a few times, sometimes it just works and sometimes it dont. been doing it for days now and no post from devs about solving it. this was last post ive seen by a dev on the subject:

There was indeed a hickup and we are currently looking into what happened exactly. However, as already noticed, most that were affected should be able to log back in already.

come on man, you know about the issue, its not a secret and its wide spread. please post a workaround etc.

You know that the post was made 2011?
It is probably a new "hickup" just like the socket loss is. Wait for maintenance and see if it works after that.

I had this issue until logging in this morning.

Today's patch seems to have fixed it.

I posted about this in the other thread, "Clear all cached data" from the launcher fixed it for me.

This just happened to me 10 minutes ago and clearing caches on client and launcher have not fixed it, other characters do work though

I have same problem.
This is second day i have black screen log in. Non of my client are working.
After i pick which toon i want to play it goes to a black screen.
And if my web browser (Mozilla Firefox) is active it also goes to a black screen until i close eve and restart Mozilla
Also launcher is very slow.
Any fix soon ?
