realistically to be somewhat effective a toon needs 2 weeks of training core skills to 4.

that would be engineering / electronics / tank / guns / frigates / destroyers / drones / overload / rigs

2 weeks will go faster since new toons can get access to cerebral accelerators - that increases training speed by what, 35%?
