high sec - ganking

is this the high sec it was intended to be? cause even the low sec pirates and null sec pirates come here for easy KM's and "highly professional skilled tear trolling activities".

let me make this clear. i am not the guy that comes to the forum to whine because he lost his ship, i have lost a ship to high sec gankers years ago and i can't care for the ship, what me made writing this post is what i observerd around me. and the high sec ganking is not a good thing for the new players which i like to see in this game.

so please, do something about high sec gankers, for the new people, the people that just wanna do there own thing, and whoever likes to fly wihouth the ever pressence of getting shot in the face all the time like the FPS games aimed for 14 year old brad's already provide to us.

Eve is pvp everything you do is a means to get to the pvp. Trading pvp. Wormhole pvp. low sec pvp. mining pvp if you can call it that, Everything in this game is leading you to pvp. Open sandbox world, CCP can't let you have those shiny gear without risk, The value of gear would drop due to no one ever dieing who's using it. Don't fly fully officer fitted ships and watch local. I get it eve is hard most of us like it that with so many games being made to cater to easy mode players who like getting rewarded for nothing and no risk doing it. Eve isn't for everyone you either adapt or quit.

Spelling, capitalization, and grammatical errors aside - they use glass cannons because they are going to get smoked by CONCORD. They are going to get blasted by the fuzz. Why bother tanking?

Also, they don't do it for the tears. They have no control over the emotional response of their prey. The emotional response is solely up to the prey. They do it for fun.

Space is a dangerous place. Seriously.

No, this is about you. I'm not looking up your KB, I'll assume that you or an alt either lost something recently, or had an 'discussion' with a ganker in local, or something like that. Because it's never about the new people. The new people either do fine with or without the ganking, or this game isn't for them, in which case they were never going to last long anyway.

Jita undock is terrible for ganking, we go for them in lower sec systems on the trade routes and just stay -10. Its not like people are going to stop us.

It doesn't matter if it's terrible or not. People still do it though. The same with carebears doing missions in RLML ravens and insisting it's actually good.


Im testing rhml in missions soon. I might be able to break 50 mil/hr in level 3s.

Joining into high-sec gank activities is actually an extremely lucrative option for new players with a low SP/ISK base.

I'm surprised there aren't more high-sec Corps specifically dedicated to this, that would specifically recruit new players.
The only substantial set-back for the new players is Security Status, but Id imagine a Corp organised around this kind of behavior would have np helping them raise their Sec Status back up again with Corp supervision and assistance.

To participate, all they need is to be able to fly a Destroyer and some simple and very focused Skill training.
Its perfect for new players. Ganking is perfect, ESPECIALLY for new players.

So the argument that ganking is "detrimental" to new players, falls on its face in that regard, and is infact the exact opposite.

Not to mention there is no such thing as a new player in a multibillion missioning ship, unless he has bought the account, in which case, thats his own responsibility anyways.

You know Visione, instead of coming here and crying about how all your newbie friends are being ganked, you should help them by linking them the 'New Halaima Code of Conduct' in local and in all your hi-sec friends channels.

By simply following the Code, not only will you cut down on senseless and unnecessary ganking, but you'll be spreading the vision of James 315 and making hi-sec a more enjoyable place for everyone.
