Cloaky/Covert Loki For Null Sec PvP?

Hey all, I want to give covert pvp a try. Is the loki effective for solo covert style PvP? I am thinking of getting into one to try and catch missoners/explorers in null sec sites.

Would you guys recommend the Loki? Do you have any fits for one? I am thinking of shield tanking it as the align time is better than if its armor tanked; making dodging gate camps a little easier.
