Dev blog of win

Looks like they're filling in some DED gaps, and boosting mags and anoms. Big smile

I still give it about 2 hours after the expansion drops though before a post drops saying it's borked. Cool

Sounds nice. More variety in rig blueprints is a good thing. Not sure about the anomaly part.

Altho, since i am in Angel space a bit - where's their DED 6/10? And also please look at their 5/10, i think it has issues with despawning, even when there is noone in system that could afk-cloak in it (unless those hacked clients that don't show up in local are still around...).

Yeah, the new modules do sound exciting, and hopefully boosting mag/anom isk will even out the dry spells and provide some steadier isk for those who run them (and distract them from my DEDs Blink).

Most of that patch I'm excited for (*crosses fingers for Angel 3-4/10 sites*). But the mag site change kinda disappoints
me. I was hoping that they would do something that would make them unique and worth doing, just boosting the salvage drop amounts doesn't really change that much (especially since 90% of the drops are crap no matter how many drop).

Yeah mag sites will continue to be ****. Simply adding loot just increases supply and medium/small rigs? meh.

Give us small/medium/large faction tower bpcs in high/low/null mag sites CCP.

As for 3-4/10s in Angel space...I might have to visit over there as well.

A boost to anomalies wouldn't get any complaints from me.

And what is this mythical "faction spawn" that people speak of anyway? I've been clearing sites all week and not gotten a single one!

@ Kilrayn: Look it only took 20 minutes!

Thanks for the link to that blog- I'm hoping to see some really nice changes to exploration. I still wish they would make a ship that was a good for exploration support - like a small Orca where you could dump loot, change mods, carry an extra ship.



I miss the days when exploration was a little known proffession and regarded as completely useless to most of the players in Eve.

I think they meant modules that should/would drop from DEDs, which didn't exist, and only dropped from similar rated escalations.

Although! CCP Tallest did say he wants to introduce there needs to be some new modules e.g. deadspace Invulnerability fields (source, last line)

I'll have to agree with you on that. I did almost 10 days of hard Havening and got 0 faction spawns and 0 escalations. That was the hardest 2bn I ever earned.

Are you refering to officer spawns that drop officer loot (system sec lvl -0.75 and lower) , complex lvl drops that usually come out of escalations, or the random domination ships that sometimes will appear in roid belts?

He is referring to commander spawns, as you put it "random domination ships" (this is faction specific). They can spawn in anomalies, signatures and belts/gates.

Officers only spawn in belts.

If dev's give exploration just a bit of love, I will abandon merchandizing and put all my spare time into exploration.

Sounds interesting already but it feels like exploration is the most neglected profession in eve online.
