So recently I have been chatting to some guys in nullsec renter corps and although the ones I spoke to were nice guys they were completely clueless about PVP. Even basic concepts were misunderstood.

I have decided to pick up where Azual left off and offer pvp training to anyone who wishes to pay for it. Happy to train small to medium sized groups anywhere in EVE, will cover fittings, tactics and anything specific to your area of the game, high, low, null etc. Planning on charging a few hundred mill for an evenings training which is nothing compared to what you’ll save in ship losses.

I suppose you are wondering if I’m any good at this point so here’s my EVE history. I was a Tusker for over a year and left about five months ago to rejoin the Bastards and concentrate on training new pilots. We have been very successful at this and have month old characters getting solo kills in lowsec. Since then I have become a Tusker again.

My killboard is here http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Johnny+Twelvebore

Any questions please post em here and I'll monitor this thread.

Or you could join FW and learn for free.

And spend all the money you would have spent on this guy on cool spaceships.

Contact me in game if you want free lessons and are in Gal FW.

Competition is a good thing, not bad. Maybe the guy will lower his prices. BTW, there are many noob friendly corps and alliances in Gallente Militia. You just need to know where to look:

Actually I agree with Baron, fighting is the best way to learn and FW is not a bad place to start (plus you make LP as you go).

I'm pitching this more at the nullsec guys who want to stay out in null where they make their money but still learn a few tricks.

FW does not teach you anything really, same is RvB.

You need good teachers and those places does not always guarantee that you will get one.

I am now hoping to learn a few things from DCM and pocket as I recently joined team amarrica.

On that note. I agree with baron and x gal that learning in fw is a great way to do it....other than don't join gal mil.

Um... What?

Get into a frigate, fly solo, die, learn about crappy fits. Get into another frigate, fly solo, die, learn why you died. Get into your third frigate, run into a linked pilot, die, learn about links. Get into your fourth frigate, run into a gatecamp, die, learn about gatecamps. If you were paying attention, get into your fifth frigate, get a kill, and feel like you're the best pilot in history.

FW gives money to new pilots so they can PvP without a PvE alt. FW gives pilots a place to fight on even terms. FW gives pilots a huge base of friendly and experienced pilots to learn from.

The problem is not FW. The problem is the mentality that you can't do it by yourself. Once you start depending on an FC to take care of you, you stop learning how to do anything yourself.
