there isn't any problems, they play the game their way, you play it yours - the stupid become your victim in any event.

so things change, change with them.

I think you fail to realize that the over-incentivization of low risk endeavors (mainly injecting pure isk into the economy) inflates currency and raises the bar GREATLY for new players looking to take part in risky endeavors (ie: ships are more expensive).

but without a steady source of isk who would risk ships? imagine your ceo wants your participation on a fleet op - say a dominix sentry doctrine but you have no source of isk other than level 2 or 3 missions or even (gasp) *the horror) of mining.

both would take a lot of time to raise the capital for that ship and its replacement, even level 4s take a fair amount of time.

I have a steady source of income that doesn't rely on missions or mining - I try really hard to not do these activities and my supply allows me to easily replace the ships I lose and I have thrown away some really not so cheap ships in order to save fleetmates in cheaper ones *(my being a touch suicidal is just viscious rumor - but I have fun!) and can replace it
- lately they have been el' cheapo's as the group I am flying with likes the comedy of using interesting doctrines.

I honestly don't see the problem that so many get worked up over... who would buy that officer module if they didn't have access to isk?

If I am reading correctly, I think kitty is suggesting removal of getting paid for ships that blow up, and instead having to loot said ships to collect items that could be sold for money. Thus eliminating the injection of raw currency into the game, but still providing an income from mission running.
