L4: Same mission, different agent and different LP Reward

Hi, I don't know if someone else had the same experience but I run Lvl 4 mission with different agents/factions and as the subject says, for same mission, I might get a slightly difference in LP reward.
For example, doing angel extravaganza might have a difference of 500 LP.
It seems that the agent quality should be for everyone 20 so I don't know where this difference comes from.
Anyone has an explanation?

Thanks

LP payout differ depending on the systems security rating. For instance, a .9 system might payout 1000 LP, but a .5 system will pay out more.

I thought the sec. rating of a system affected just the bounties and not the mission rewards.

Thank you.

The mission determines what kind of rats spawn. All rats of the same type have identical bounties. Sec status has no effect (except nullsec rats pay out only 95% of their listed bounty).

Sec status determines what kind of anomalies will spawn. Once the anomaly type is chosen, it will give the same kinds of rats, which will have the same bounties regardless of sec status.

Sec status directly determines what kind of rats spawn in asteroid belts and other places. Higher sec status means that higher bounty rats are likely to spawn.

All rats have an asteroid version and a mission/deadspace version with identical stats. Asteroid version rats have much higher bounties.

Now you know why the 0.5 SOE agents are so popular :D

A mission that pays 5000 or so LP in Osmon will get you closer to 10,000 LP in Lanngisi.

You do have the crazies from nearby Hek to deal with though.

Your social skills play a role in the LP reward as well.

Mission rewards also vary: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Missions_guide#Mission_Rewards

Quote:
That said, mission rewards are not fixed. There is a dynamic algorithm in place that averages out the time it takes to complete each mission, so that the longer a mission takes the greater the rewards offered. The agent system automatically determines a mission's difficulty based on the average mission time, thus any two missions that generally take about the same amount of time to complete will give roughly the same level of rewards from the same agent.

Since LP values can differ between two 0.5 agents, I'm of the opinion that LP rewards are also tied to average completion speed.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Also let's not forget the personal standings with the Agents which can be viewed in the Agents info box - standings tab.

Payouts take into account the true security status of a system. Lanngisi has a true sec status of .4612. Apanake has a trues sec status of .4882. You can find the true sec status of a system by going to here: http://eve.grismar.net/ssec/index.php
