Bug? Green safety prevents looting in NULLSEC????

I was in a friendly pos in nullsec. No recent joining or leaving of characters. My CEO anchored a non-passworded freight container in space (inside a pos forcefield). This can appears yellow to me. I cannot remove items from it without first setting my safety to yellow or green. This seems a bit silly, because in nullsec the safety shouldn't prevent you from doing anything as no action in nullsec can result in a criminal flag. By setting my safety to yellow i can take items. Of course this does not give ma criminal flag. But I shouldn't be required to change my safety. That's confusing if intended and I'm sure its a bug.

Plus, we're in the same corp so it shouldn't have been yellow in the first place.
