Rokh for incursions

Hello,

I was just wondering if well fitted T2 or faction fitted Rokh is useful in incursions? I know Ravens are not welcome but since Rokh uses guns instead of missiles then it must be a better choice.

Rokh's are not ideal but they are used in some fleets. I would say the Rokh is a reasonable place to start while you save up for a Nightmare or Vindicator.

Shield nightmare is better than a rokh yes.

Nightmares are designed to be shield tanked. They only fly in shield incursion fleets.


The Rokh makes a great starter ship for incursions, its a gunboat, and is able to easily fit the required tank.

It's quite slow, and its dps isn't great, but it can be blaster or rail fit, and makes for a safe boat to learn in.

The Raven is not just undesirable due to its use of missiles, but is also not really capable of the required tank.

There aren't that many ships which can't be shield tanked with 2 mids + 2 rigs. Budget is the real limiter.

EDIT : Make that 3 mids for a raven because of really low base shield HP but a navy one would do it with 2 mids.

You can do it with a single mid on any pirate Bs other than a vindi even in hqs. Takes shiny, but what is incursion isk for if not shinying up your incursion fit a bit, and then being space rich?
