My EVE

Those of us who have been on SiSi are aware of just how awesome the new nebulae backgrounds are. I'm sure quite a few of you have thought "this would make an awesome wallpaper!" But how do you deal with the fact that when you take a screenshot you only have a relatively small field of view? Simple: unpack the texture packs and manually stitch the textures together in photoshop, blend in the starfield, clean up any seam lines, and then edit the whole thing together for opacity (nebulae, after all, can be opaque in places), and crop it down to wallpaper size.

Wait... that's not simple at all. Thankfully, I've done it for you! Starting with this post, I'll be releasing wallpaper packs for every new background in EVE. The wallpapers are 2560x1440 resolution, with a few bonus 3840x1080 wallpapers for you lucky bastards with multi-monitor setups.

This pack includes the first 10 Amarrian regions. Unfortunately, as region names are not included in the file data, I don't have the files named by region, but in general, they start in high-sec and work their way down. I'll be amending the files when I get some time to explore in the map and figure out exactly what background goes to what region. I might also add region names to the images themselves in the bottom right.

Feel free to use these as you see fit, though I'd appreciate any credit you care to give me. Please also bear in mind that the original textures are only 8-bit color, so there is some banding and artifacting in the original source textures that I just couldn't get rid of. If CCP releases higher resolution textures, I'll probably update these, if the quality is a significant jump.
