They are hard, and their combat plexes are scary.

That is all.

I don't even screw with the Blood 10/10 (Blood Raider Naval Shipyard). It's doable, but when EVERY other 10/10 can be solo'd with 1 ship where as you need a minimum of 2 for BRNS (and for crappy corpus x type loot to boot, which you might not get), well screw that. I don't even do Sanctums and Havens in upgrade systems if they are Blood for fear of getting that 10/10 escalation lol.

Blood Fleet Staging Point is easy as pie, just all the jumping around sucks. The 8/10 is easy too. Even the old unrated Blood Temple Complex (which gives A-type loot if you make it to the end) is OK. But the 10/10 is a *****.

Funny thing is, before aggro switching, the blood 10/10 used to be the easiest. Clear the 1st 2 rooms, warp an armor buffered loki into the last room, then warp in a domi to rep it and provide dps, pop the station and scramming frigs, BM the loot and warp off. Now it's triple remote rep BSs or go home lol.

I let a 10/10 escalation expire last night (ef-ing 24 hour timer BS), and it hurt me on the inside. Thank you for your kind words of consolation.

As for the blood temple complex, I was doing some research on it last night cuz i found one, and it sounded like it was just a re-named fleet staging point, except (according to goonwiki, but prob outdated) 12 neutralizer III's instead of 2-3 like in the other races sites. Is there an actual blood fleet staging point that is easier that this?

I'm also thinking about ditching the ishtar for a proper MJD-equipped BS. To hell with this neuting/webbing crap.

Blood Temple Complex and Blood Fleet Staging Point are 2 different things yes.

Fleet Staging point is (like all races) the ex-non-rated plex converted to a 9/10 and drops OPE at the end for sure and never fails. Blood Temple Complex is still unrated and can fail (ie you get the 1st escalation, complete it and don't get the Inner Sanctum escalation, and there is no guarantee of getting anything at all even if you complete the Inner Sanctum. Blood Temple Complex is harder, that last room is a *****.

IMO Ishtar is the exact wrong ship to use for Bloods because of it's resist profile. It's better for Sansha, but not by much. ANY MJd BS will usually be a better choice in my experience. The Rattlesnake is a King in BR space. I used an MJD navy Raven (supported by a tengu with one deadspace medium remote rep) for 8/10s and Fleet Staging Point 3s.

I can get over 90% em on my ishtar without too much fuss, but it still seems to take lots of damage from popes and the like. With the MJD to outrange neuts, I would think an active tank would be completely fine? Not too worried about neutralizer towers if I'm not at risk of getting tackled.

Right. When at range, popes die 1st, then Harbingers/Archbishops because if they get under 25km they start neuting. My MJD navy raven has no problems.

it would be rather easier for me to buy blood 10/10s from alliance chat than a maze thats for sure. People offer em up fairly regularly but everyone keeps their precious mazes.

I should make use of my docking rights and buy one, one of these days.
