I know of at least one more Okie (RL friend of mine) who plays EVE, I live in the Tulsa area.

And no, I don't fly a Tornado :)

That'd be too cliche. But yes, my corp has and has had several more Okies. I think we used to have a channel in-game, too.

El Reno here with a corp mate in Yukon. I'll be away for a week or two as I'm moving into a new place. I'd like to attend a meetup if someone wanted to set one up or givin a little more time I could set one up myself. Fly safe o/

Good afternoon fellow Eve enthusiast. A few days ago I decided to host an out of game event. I currently reside in El Reno, which is where this will take place. I understand it is a bit out of the way, but I don’t want to lug a ton of stuff away from home and then back. My PC will be available for all to use if you want to show off something ingame. We do have wifi as well so feel free to bring along a laptop. I will be providing drinks(alcohol included so let me know if you have a special request) as well as snacks. I can order pizza for a meal or someone is welcome to use my grill if they like(I’m a terrible cook). This is mainly just a time to discuss Eve and make a few new friends. I figured to add some excitement, I’ll have a new unopened second decade collectors edition as a prize to give away. Either that or I will transfer your toon 6 PLEX. Winners choice on the prize. I figure I’ll do a name draw of attendees and winner gets the prize. If you have a different suggestion, please let me know. Seeing as there will be alcohol, this will be a child free event. Folks under 21 are welcome to come, but please don’t ask me for alcohol. This is all for fun and as a host, I’m not trying to go to jail! My place is small so I can’t host a huge crowd indoors. Weather permitting, we can move things outside to the picnic table and lawn chairs if need be. I only have a few so if you have a chair, please bring it along. I would like to have at least five or more people show up. If it’s just you that comes, I suppose you can guarantee a win on the collectors edition/PLEX. At the moment, I’m planning on a weekend late August/early September. This will all depend on responses and when people can make it. Let me know your thoughts and if you’d like to attend. Well after a week or two I haven't had any responses. I can only assume one doesn't want to drive to El Reno, which is understandable. So for the time being I will put this event on ice and head back to the field for work. If at any time someone wants to get together just let me know. I'm always down for Eve talk!
