Skill queue problem. What happened?

So I had various skills lined up for over a 24 hour period. My armor rigging skill was ticking away at 9am this morning.

I saw it complete, it flagged itself as "completion imminent" for about 5 minutes (longer than normal). It eventually completes and the skills start moving on again. I log off and head to work and I come back now to find nothing has been training since 9am after armor rigging completed. Despite the fact I saw drone rigging ticking down when i logged off?

What happened?

If you loaded the skills through the queue, it's very important to push the "apply" button. For that reason, I rarely use the skill queue.. I just load skills from the character profile, until the pop up says I can't.

If you think you did push it, then I dunno...
Thankfully, you only lost 10 hrs of training. I've heard of much worse.

This is the reason I mash the poor apply button after adding skills to the queue and doublecheck it on EVEMon afterwards.

EVE is what happens when the rule of law does not apply and Darwinism is allowed to run freely.

I mash the hell out of that apply button every time I open the skill sheet. Hitting apply wasn't the problem, as I was heading off to work I triple checked to see if it was counting down, which it was at the time of my logging off.

Not sure if it is related but the server derped sometime this week, kicking people or lagging a whole lot for others. I wasn't playing much so I'm not sure which day it was but it's possible you might've been one of the affected ones.

Sometimes there is a bug where the skill queue gets stuck. If this happened, petition it for the lost skill points.

This is assuming you actually had the skill queue properly setup. For example, if you forgot to hit apply on your skill queue before logging off, you would not have had a "properly" setup skill queue, and will not receive reimbursement. One way to check this, is to close your skill queue editor and reopen it. If it reopens with all your skills still in queue, then it is properly setup.

Another note: the "eminent completion" bug is usually auto-corrected at downtime. So if you eve experience this, and don't want to deal with petitioning for lost skill points, Open the skill queue and plug in some other skill (to not lose training time), and simply wait for DT to fix the stuck skill.
