Woah woah, let's relax on the industrial freight loading here...

I can make you a loaf. One loaf. We're talking about cubic centimeters here... probably around two to three thousand cm³

Well I'm still getting to know my new friends and settle in so I figured that after finding this banana-bread-thread these baked goods might be a nice gift of goodwill. Hardly going to feed two hundred handsome, hungry, hairy and murderous bellies on the one loaf though. But I guess it's the thought that counts.

An iced synth-latte will sort me out personally, doesn't take much to fill my pigeon-belly but I'll still take you up on the single loaf.

I'll have my big brother swing by, just let me know the address and a convenient time.

Oh and hello Lady Devonshire.

I'll have it contracted over to you somewhere near Jita. I prefer to be frugal with my physical home address, you understand.

3 to 4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup (75 grams) melted salted butter
3/4 to 1 cup (145 to 190 grams) light brown sugar (depending on the level of sweetness you prefer, I always use the smaller amount)
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
1 tablespoon (15 ml) bourbon (optional)
1 teaspoon (5 grams) baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon (3 grams) cinnamon
Up to 1/2 teaspoon (1) nutmeg
Pinch of ground cloves
1 1/2 cups (190 grams) flour

Preheat the oven to 350°F. With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, vanilla and bourbon, then the spices. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered 4×8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes to one hour, or until a tester comes out clean. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.

Found this one for you. It has alcohol in it. That makes everything better.P

A tablespoon of bourbon? If you like alcohol in your food, try a rum soaked cake or some bourbon soaked cherries.

I like banana bread though. I'll take some without the bourbon.

With bourbon, without bourbon. With extra bourbon.... banana bread is awesome.

If it's mine, you might want to have someone else make it.... I've lost to many ships attempting to cook already.

There are some things you hear around the cluster that you just never imagined would ever be said. This trumps the time in a Cat station when I watched an Amarrian server come up to the Brutor at the table next to me and say "Can I help you?"

Wel Mr Redpants has two achievements already.

The first one: everyone agrees he's a blathering fool, quite the achievement on IGS to make everyone agree!

Second: Banana bread! And even a fine & excellent recipe!
Also, how does one torch a ship when attempting to cook? Must doublecheck the crew kitchen fire security measures, I don't want it to happen to me!

Due to increased demand on the market for Banana Bread, expectations are the price will rise accordingly. Caldari Market speculators anticipate on this by buying up the large stocks of cheap Banana Bread to offer later at a markup once supply has reduced & demand assures outrageous prices & profit to be made.

Rumor has it that Jita gates are blocked by to be left unnamed organisations in order to drive up Banana Bread prices even more by cutting off supplies for the demand, effectivly allowing the speculators to monopolize the Banana Bread market in Jita & charge high prices!

Else

Ah, Else there are indeed familiar faces still left around. As I recall we had many rousing conversations over the years some time ago, yes. I suppose in one of the many twists of irony I'm pleased to see you.

You see I feel as if I've returned to my house and find it filled with new roommates who are touched on the brain and bake exotic foods. I'm still trying to determine if these people are just boring or in contrast, are super excited about a dish I've never heard of before. Maybe I should go to Jita too and see what the galactic fuss is about!

What am I going to do next you ask? Else, I'm taken off guard, I would never have guessed you cared! I can't speak to what I'm doing next, just now, and that's passing the hours by in this station browsing Galnet while I wait to broker a significant Vitoc deal (which is long overdue, BTW and uncharacteristic of my contact.)

How, may I ask, has life been for you while I've been away from the public for 6 years hopping between shadows?
