And the Gallente wonder why people often do not take them seriously...

As a Gallente activist, please allow me to explain. In the Federation, with valuing personal liberties that we do , we tend to take a hands off approach when people say stupid things. It's a right to say what you want without fear of the government hammer slamming down on your head. This is both wonderful and terrible at the same time. It's wonderful in that I can say how I feel about how Jacus Roden is a moronic war-mongering toad head (juvenile language weeeee!), but bad in that it sometimes seems to encourage people who would normally keep their mouth shut in other Empires... to say stupid stupid things. I realize such people then make us look bad, because those that yell the loudest and most often tend to get the attention and shape outsiders opinions.

However at the end of the day, I value the freedoms that we have much much more, than the look of disdane I sometimes get from others because of what some other goofball said.

Right, so... anyway, Kassigainen. Long time, back. Veto, then, yes? Veto? Is there still a Veto? What's the deal: did they slaughter an aide convey for some higher purpose; or, the hell of it?

Actually, it was all about a Kaalakiota labor dispute, wasn't it?

Funny, the Executor prevented a terrorist attack on a Kaalakiota station recently by... blowing up a convoy. Hmmm.

Coincidence?

It's not needless. Most of you were quite forgettable, as you are now proving to be yourself.

Then you'll understand when we all completely forget about you. Good. We've got enough idiots with masters degrees in kissing their own *** that you don't even stand out from the crowd.

So... Stupid enough to get used. Lucky enough to live. Arrogant enough to think any of us give a **** about it. Congratulations, you're a certified moron with a big mouth that nobody knows or cares to. **** off.

I had thought the implications of what I am saying would be enough for the average citizen to understand. Apparently signing away rights that our people built an empire around, to be sent to a foreign system that is experiencing a riot (which outwardly has little to do with any of my business) to gather intelligence about the event, before said event is apparently taking place, only to have the Federation suddenly (suddenly?) show up to "help" AND be accused of pulling strings behind the scenes just due to my presence, isn't enough to arouse suspicion with some people. That's interesting in and of itself.

Maybe if you had to keep your mouth shut about an political incident which is no longer in the popular conversation, long after it passed, you'd smell what was fishy.

[EDIT] Additionally I have to consider that some of you may still have been in your birth bodies at the time of the Kassigainen "incident" in YC108. You should read more into it and then you'll understand how tense the situation was and how it almost moved us to war.

...What, you wanted a cookie or something? Try not crapping on people (who, incidentally are in a FAR better position than your sorry self) with every statement that comes out of that noise hole in your empty skull, you self-absorbed jackass. Don't bother wasting your breath in reply, in my case, I know worthless when I see it, and the only NEOCOM bandwidth I reserve for the likes of you are the blocked channels.

I don't even know what in the cluster happened in this thread, but I swear by all that is matter I will end somebody if I find out who riled up Erys Charantes.

If you had any idea how tense she is now. Any idea!

Massaging her shoulders tonight is going to be like trying to untie a sailors knot with your elbows.

Tense? That would mean it meant something more to me than a few moments diversion down Idiot Lane, amour...

But I'll definately take the massage. Big smile

Oh.

Well then, I suppose it's worth noting I've got some fresh banana bread coming out of the oven in about five minutes. Hopefully it comes out right this time.

I overslept today.

From the looks of the Corp mails I found on waking it seems I missed breakfast.

Anyway, what's all this about fresh bread and bananas?

Bread, baked with bananas in it. It will start and end wars. One cannot truly say they have lived until they have eaten it.

Sure, I'll mail you a package of some by the end of the week. Once I perfect the recipe. This one is still a bit too soft on the inside.

Banana bread is a type of bread that is made with mashed fully ripe bananas. It is often a moist, sweet, cake-like quick bread.

I'm trying to learn how to bake it from scratch. It is difficult.

Oh dear, the Black Eagles deliberately engineered a riot so as to swoop in and put down their jack-boots all over the Federation constitution?

Well, as you said, you have been gone for five years so it is quite forgivable that you may not realize that this is not news to anyone.

Woah woah, let's relax on the industrial freight loading here...

I can make you a loaf. One loaf. We're talking about cubic centimeters here... probably around two to three thousand cm³.

Darling! Not but a couple of days ago, I sent Schere sweetie a Magic Massage Man and two or three antique crates full of hand lacquered shiatsu prongs. And bubbly bath materials. And oil. And coarse spready mud. And, um, thick fuzzy carpets for wiggling wet toes on. And precisely selected rocks of differing weights for warming.... just head on over to her and she can handle all that!
