Not sure if this is the correct form for this, but worth a try.

I'm wondering if it is possible for an external player to view what the members of another corp has been selling on the market? (More specifically is the market sales data restricted to the owning corp, or is it viewable by other players not in said corp and don't have access to an API?)

eg. I want to see if a corp has sold a particular item on the market in the past.

Again sorry if this isn't the place for this kind a thread, but just curious if it is possible.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: The difference between "a corp" and "a player" when it comes to market transaction data is only visible from inside the corp, i.e. each member with the proper role(s) has access to that data and can tell a) it's a corp transaction a b) which member did it on behalf of a corp.

For an outsider there's no notable difference. He would need to look up the name to see if it links to a character or a corp. From there you can draw your own conclusion: accessibility of market data to an outsider is the same for a corp than for a char. Without any sort of API access or voluntarily sharing/publishing by said player/corp, no outsider has access.
