a new update just freezes at 3/4 step, either its 100%, 0% or 50%. Restarting just gets to this step and nothing happens. Help?

Nevermind. Closing and opening for 10 times seemed to have solved the issue. Please don't become microsoft.

I've had the same issue, both with the last update yesterday and the update today. Redownloading the client yesterday worked, and I'm giving it another reinstall today, to see if that'll fix it. I haven't had many issues at all with the launcher, this being the main one and just a little bit of it being slow other times.
