Out of Pod Experience

These have been some pretty tense days for my family and me.

Even here in Panama my cellphone was ringing constantly and Whatsapp messages were pouring constantly.

These past days have been extremely tense, with a lot of Venezuelans protesting, yet again , what they see as the ineptitude of the Government and the Government in turn squashing them like bugs with no remorse.


There have been several movements, specially in the US, where a lot of Exiled Venezuelans now live, and there have been several tense moments, with the willful surrender of one of our key political leaders to the Government in Peace.

My cellphone is now home to pictures of several students, some of which traveled from the USA specifically to protest, being beaten up , incarcerated and then tortured , most of the pics I can´t show in a public forum, but can be found in the net.


One common torture down here is being anally raped by rifles by the police, and taking turns at that, which has been documented over the years, and even foreigners detained here have spoken of this.

So In a sense, I have tried to veer away from this, but like most Venezuelans right now, I am posting this here, in hopes other people see it, doing my part.

Just spreading the message and thats all.

PD Posting photos I know to be real, like we all know, there´s a lot of Disinfo spouting like crazy, to discredit the movement, and the twitter shutdown was just part of this, despite what the govt says, seeing my twitter feed from several hundred posts a day to barely a trickle lately was kinda convincing for me.

PD2: Right now, a Venezuelan Beauty Queen, has been shot in the Head, Miss Turismo Genesis Carmona, another prominent figure, speaking of the violence happening right now.

There is also now a series of links being distributed around, trying to teach the Counter-Government tactics of the "Guarimba Doctrine" to those with access to the net in the country. They are few, and usually deleted , here is one giving a graphical example how to mount barricades against the "Rhino" Cars can only link the old ones, new ones are different.

There are also several Venezuelans, talking about how to counter govt forcest and never stray away from strong points since Govt Forces spread apart usually.

Its an amazing thing that the Venezuelean Government keeps claiming foreign actors behind the scene. We have seen this used in Iran to quash student protests there and across the middle east / north africa and now in Ukraine.

Clearly the ability of foreign actors show how inept the venezuelean Government is if they can operate with impunity.

Somehow i dont see Venezuela giving in to compromise as easily as the Ukrainians appear to have done since yesterdays bloodshed. The current regime seem keen to stay in power no matter what.

Whats the feeling amongst the diaspora Brujo? Worries of a Civil war brewing?

Aye spoke too soon. Seems those "in charge" have become detached from exerting control of those on the street. At least from the opposition stand point. They seem a very mish mash group.

Just out of curiosity, why did the Ukraine thread get locked and not this one?

English translation of the video: they are (supposedly) throwing gasoline into those barricades and would light the gasoline when the Rhino is atop it. The video demonstrates how a Rhino might respond to barricades in the street, and make itself vulnerable in the process.

Another country going to hell...

I am really sad about this (and all the other terrible events around the world).
