11 years ago, when EVE Online was still in beta, a place was created where volunteers could play music for other EVE players, talk about the game itself, and overall share their enthusiasm over the project to the world. This site is one of the oldest radios that was specifically created for EVE Online and has continued to provide and host fantastic content for the community since the day it started.

If you haven’t heard about http://eve-radio.com/ before, you are in for a treat. It is a 24/7 internet radio station, hosted by EVE players for EVE players. Several live DJ’s keep the fun going at all hours, with random ad hoc giveaways and events that keep listeners engaged and entertained. Whether you are out and about alone on a roam, mining, or doing missions; in a fleet operation that can do with a soundtrack; or just relaxing in the various social channels that you have going, EVE-Radio comes highly recommended.

If you ever come across any of the people that run EVE-Radio, or dedicate their time to filling space with their selection of music, give them a pat on the back and a thumbs up! These guys have been fantastic contributors of content to the community, and it seems they are only getting stronger. If you are interested in reading more about EVE-Radio, check out the community spotlight that CCP Phantom wrote about them. It provides more information on the activities these guys do, and show you the level of dedication they have for EVE Online.

There are many more Fansites that might hold exactly what you need to assist you in EVE Online or list the information you never knew you were missing. Take a look; it is almost guaranteed you will find something to your liking. Alternatively, check out the last Fansite that was featured in this thread. The featured Fansite is picked at random every two weeks to showcase the important, community driven work these content creators bring to EVE Online.

EVE Radio for life...

Wouldn't know how to play EVE if I hadn't EVE Radio always playing in the background...
Its not only a Music 24/7 Radio station as it is also informative...

On Tuesdays to Wednesdays at 00:00 EVE Time we have the 3 hour talk show (DJ Bigcountry) where they talk and "Argue" about EVE Online... incoming patches, DEV blogs and so on... many times going totally off topic and randomness rulez! :D

Also on Sundays at 18:00 EVE Time another talk show... (GRN Talk show with DJ wiggles).. with a more diversity of subjects as they don't also talk only about EVE but also about technologies in general...

Besides all the DJ events that can get you a couple millions with minimal effort they also have special events for special dates... like Christmas and so on...
There is so much content in EVE Radio... if you never heard of EVE Radio like CCP Gargant Said "you are in for a treat.".

Glad to see this promoted again. I am not a regular, but I do drop in from time to time, and have enjoyed it immensely. They help make space a less lonely place. Cool

Come check out my shows when you can.
My regular show is 0000/SUN/GMT (7:00PM/SAT/EST US)
I often do live concerts and at a minimum perform live remixing
of Electro, Breaks, Psytrance, DnB/Jungle, 90s Techno, and whatever else fits into the musical journey.

As mentioned a lot of us also have give-aways. My show is a Role Playing based one and I run EVE Trivia based upon History, Machima such as Clear Skies, EVE World News, and Chronicles.

You would be amazed at the quality of many of the shows on there and no matter what you listen to; I am sure we have a DJ you will like.

For you Late Nighters/ Early AM crowd I also do a lot of covers on the 0600 slot as well. For updated show and covers info you can add my EVE-Mail Mailing List:
Digital.Tremors

Thanks to everyone for having me be part of this awesome team at E-R

Hope to see you all out there,

When I began playing EVE some 6 years ago, EVE RADIO was my first introduction to the EVE community. I have donated billions of isk and ships to various djs over the years and I've won billions of isk and ships from various djs over the years. It's a great group of people - all volunteers - who donate their time, united in a shared passion for music and EVE ONLINE. But while some of these guys are amateurs, some also really are aspiring artists, mixing music live on-air and uploading their tunes to soundcloud or releasing real albums.

EVE RADIO DJs and the music they play is as diverse as the EVE playerbase. You may listen to a DJ from Finland, then Germany, then the UK, then the USA - all in the same day. But if you keep an open mind, this multicultural aspect will fast become one of the strongest reasons to keep listening to EVE RADIO. Rarely does a day go by where I do not hear a song I've never heard before or find myself exposed to a style of music that I wouldn't have been exposed to were I not listening. (I keep a notepad note open 24/7 to jot down new song titles for future reference.) And for someone like me, an explorer at heart, this daily global survey of culture, music trends and tastes is fantastic.

But EVE RADIO isn't just about the music. There's also a robust and growing community populated with colorful characters. Just this past weekend, I flew with at least 50 other EVE RADIO listeners in a massive mining operation that was streamed live on Twitch. ER is currently raising 100 billion isk just to give it all away to listeners this summer. We needed logistics in every belt to keep the gankers at bay (live entertainment!) and we lost a few hulks throughout the course of the day - but it was great fun. Complete strangers united under a common cause - and all for charity!

There's another one of these massive mining ops happening in a few weeks. There's also ranked pvp tournaments, pod the dj contests, LIGHTSHOW contests, trivia, THE GRID, ragequit theater, talk shows - a quite-literal bounty of EVE-related content, isk giveaways, and fun times. The ER channel gets visits from CSM members, CCP devs, GMs - you really never know who you'll see there.

Are there other EVE-themed internet radio stations out there? Yes. And they suck pretty horribly - usually struggling to get listeners numbering in the double-digits. Some nights their 2 listeners are the DJs themselves. So don't settle for some cheap imitation pretending to be on the same level. They're not. There's only one EVE radio station that's been a part of this community for over 11 years and it's this one. ER doesn't care if you're a newbro, a bitter vet, a miner, or a ship spinner - everyone's welcome. They will all be trolled, hazed, and made fun of equally! Twisted

I've been a fan of EVE RADIO the entirety of the time I've been a fan of EVE ONLINE. The two, for me, are connected in an almost inseparable way and I would throw down for those guys any day. So I'm more than happy to shoot a quick testimonial for them here now. I'll even slap an eve radio link into my forum signature for a while.

If you aren't listening yet, you're really missing out on some entertaining times in the EVE community. And it's never too late to start.

See you in the 'eve radio' chat channel! o7

please stop playing Nicky Minaj, KeSha, Katy Perry and equally crappy music that all sounds exactly the same and you have a new listener Lol. The only good pop music was pre 2000´s.. I´m not saying that music today isn´t good, you just don´t hear the good stuff on radio top 10 lists.

that´s more like it! Just tuned in for the first time today and I heard all of the artists I mentioned in the same half hour and that was a real turn off and made me think that was the only type of music being played Oops..

Nicky Minaj doesn´t really hit the spot for me while doing pewpewCool
