So after some complaining about the fact that bubbles are extremely bright and wash everything out from certain angles when stacked, CCP decided to take a pickaxe instead of a scalpel and make cloud generation optional, tying it to the effects checkbox in graphics settings.

Not only did this cause more problems than it solves (people wanting to remove clouds but not other effects, for example) this doesn't even solve the original problem. Bubbles are still just as bright when they're stacked.
Please, fix the bubbles and make clouds their own option in graphics effects. This is what people told you needed to happen, but you ignored them.
