A "simple" Improvement to production

* first: i put simple in "..." cause i dont know if there are restrictions code wise

now to the idea:

i understand why the market is split into regions it spices things up a bit but why is the same restriction imposed to production?
after i gave it some thought i still came up with no conclusion.

therefore i sugest the distance which allows you to manage production should only be skill based, without any region border restriction.
(and maybe pos production should handle the same as station production)

any thoughts why it should/should not?

So as to require physical presence in a vicinity? CCP has acknowledged that being at the production line is going too far, so they've opted to build in skills to extend range. But they've opted to cap that range to require some proximity. This keeps characters proximate to their activities.

Without such restrictions I could set up a high sec POS with a rented office in system and literally never go there again. Everything could be handled remotely via courier contracts. Space becomes smaller, and my freedom to use characters where ever for whatever is increased, encouraging research and production to be a secondary activity done on mains with better things to do rather than alts that can be specifically purposed to sit on jobs. Lower demand for such alts drives the value of those characters down, which drives down total subscriptions.

may be you misunderstood im not sure about that

curentyl i can be 1 jump away but unable to manage cause region borders overide skills
the intend of my proposition is to cahange that so that only the existing skill is the limit with the natural limit at lvl 5
(which would have to change cause 5 limits to whole region)

i understand this but higher quality of gameplay boosts subscriptions
it isnt that i m asking to set the limit to whole universe
