Yeah yeah, anything related to incarna is taboo.

Anyway, I had an idea the other night while looking at some mordu's legion frigates, and noticed they had a nice blue camoflauge scheme unique to their faction.

My idea is to add faction clothing to LP stores, such as caldari digital, and....whatever the hell the amarr Navy scheme is. on top of this, you could include dress uniforms embroidered with faction logos, ect ect.

I personally fail to see a downside to this if a dev team has some spare time un-allotted to a project....If people are willing to go to war for a faction should they not be able to show off their patriotism?

While there are some faction warfare clothing items, the don't really seem to stand out as a particular faction's dress uniform.

There is already faction warfare only clothing, but more would be nice.

Navy-specific color schemes for clothing types out of the LP store is a wonderful idea; I would thooroughly enjoy having a navy-digi camo coat, or even something flamboyant like a blaster holster.

I personally don't want 'Navy' clothing items in LP stores. Because we are not Navy, even if we participate in FW.
We are Militia, and I feel that the distinction is very important in terms of the game to keep distinct.

That said, Militia outfits, sure, they can even use the base colour scheme, just there should be a clear visual identifier that says 'This is a Militia clothing item, not a true member of the Navy'

I want a top hat before Navy clothes, tbh. Maybe a Cape and Parrot for my shoulder too.

Well don't see having navy uniforms as an issue, if you are a member of your a player or npc corp you are in someone's navy Lol.

It would be cool if there were some way to get an alliance or corp logo on the uniform, (and hopefully have them on ships too at the same time P).

So YES for:

  • Navy Uniform (with possibly a changeable logo on it).
  • Navy Dress Uniform
  • Faction warfare uniform.
  • DUST style body armor options (could be interesting)
  • Uniforms for technical jobs, scientist, engineer, etc.


It would be good to have some kind of military look for members of a corp/alliance maybe even save a uniform setting available to members of that corp/alliance, should they choose to use it.

Would hope that the Navy Surplus uniforms when they enter the LP store or the NeX market are very inexpensive to allow more people to use them and not leave them unused. Hell would be happy to have them added to the current set of default options when customizing characters.

True but on the same token we can fly Navy issue ships. but i'm not just referring to faction warfare, i mean in lp stores in general, such as buying gallente camo BDU pants, ect ect.
